Today ended a busy week for the Long Beach Island real estate sales market. There were several new listings that came on the market, but there were an equally high number of pending sales. As we have seen, the LBI real estate market is in a good state of balance. Activity for today was as follows in the LBI real estate market:

  • 5 new listings came up for sale in the LBI real estate market

  • 5 homes went under contract on LBI

  • 3 homes sold on Long Beach Island

  • 2 homes saw a price reduction in the LBI real estate market

Sales in the LBI real estate market continue to be strong. Buyers are clearly activate, and a well-priced home will sell. When I say. "well priced", I do not mean the home needs to be underpriced. Rather, buyers are aware of market value, and if a home is priced in line with the market, it will sell! We still see some homes sell over list price, for example, 21 W Maryland which closed today, sold over ask.
